Here at the Ogletree Abbott Law Firm we have a deep committment to helping injured offshore workers. Each lawyer in our firm takes a personal interest in each of our clients cases. We are proud of our lawyers , who all come from a variety of different backgrounds, ethnicities, and personalities. Each person has their own unique reason for becoming a lawyer. I decided to become a lawyer as a boy of seven years when my grandmother told me the story about why she always walked with a limp. As a young woman, she was cleaning the floors of the Mellie Esperson Building in downtown Houston, Texas, and she she slipped and broke her leg. Instead taking care of my grandmother, offering to help take care of her expenses, or show any real interest in her well being her boss just sent her home. Having no medical care or indurance, and having no means to pay for the expensive treatments herself, she went through life waling with a limp, her leg protruding outwards at an angle. My grandmother was the kindest and most humble human being I have ever met. I felt what was done to her was not right so I was determined that when i grew up i would help people like my grandmother and I did just that.

I am proud that we are able to represent people just like my grandmother. People who have been injured, either on the job, in an auto accident, or who have suffered a personal injury. In the lifetime of our firm we have never represented a company or employer because we have seen how bad they can treat the people who work hard and give so much to those very companies. We make every effort and take a personal interest in making sure we get justice for hard working people who have been treated wrongly due to the negligance or direct intent of others. The purpose of the judgments and settlements that we obtain for our clients are to right wrongs and, in some cases, to punish the wrongdoer.
